Kill me, I'm Irish

I'm going to Boston this weekend with Roommate and Why I Hate D.C.
What brought about this trip? I honestly don't know. Part of me thinks I've somehow been tricked into going. And yet, I am the one responsible for initiating among my two friends the unfortunate trend of reserving a Friday morning flight out of BWI that doesn't even actually fly to Boston. The Shank will be picking us up in Providence at 1 p.m., at which point the drinkin' will begin.
Ah, that reminds me - St. Patrick's Day. I was told that St. Patrick's Day is fun in Boston, ergo my weekend plans. However, I don't like Boston accents and I don't like Irish people, so clearly my work is set out for me.

If I weren't doing so much music this weekend, I'd invite you to dinner--and try to find somewhere sans Irish and accents. :-)

Well, get use to the accent fucktaard. I believe it should take about 4 beers to Boston, but depends on traffic. I know Newport was about six because of traffic. Enjoy, I've been trying to convince people to go to Mexican places down in DC tomorrow and everytime I say it I remember there is a MEX/Irish bar in Fanuiel Hall called Jose McIntyres and think that is best of both worlds.

Oh, Toby, you just need the love of a good, alcoholic Irishman with the heart of a poet and the liver of a hundred year old.
While you're in Boston, make sure you "pAHk the cAH in HAHvard YAHd"!
TOBY SAYS: Oh god shut up shut up shut up.

What is 'the luck of the Irish'? They never seem that lucky to me.

Hey, I'm going to Boston this weekend too, but not leaving until tomorrow morning. I never see you around DC though I know we go to the same places--I was probably just too drunk (Halo 2 for 1 is vicious). Would be amusing if I saw you in Boston instead. It's gonna be fuckin cold by comparison. Also, yes, to the fellow above, shut up! Bostonians park their cars by the bar, not in the middle of a campus quad.

Two consecutive posts with the word "kill" in the title? Honey, I'm worried about the Tobe.

Ha! You think listening to Irish accents is the twats, you should have tried going around Dublin yesterday - couldn't move but for the sight and sound of Stupid Fucking Irish-Americans. And other Very Stupid People. But mainly stupid fucking Irish-Americans.
(I'm not too good at distinguishing between Stupid Americans and Irish-Americans, but I tend to just assume that those Americans who spend the day vascillating unsteadily about Templebar in green felt jester hats are more than Just Plain Stupid).

tobes, did i spot you at club cafe on friday night? (or was that my overactive imagination playing a trick)
TOBY SAYS: I don't know, the first bar I went to (at around 4 p.m.) was an upstairs bar above Cheers or something.

which Irish accents in particular do you hate, as there are many of them and they are utterly different - which surprises many visitors here ;)
