Wish I thought of this

I'm pleased to announce that Rocco has coined the Disparaging Gay Label of 2006: Badge Dating Gay!

And he is a total Badge Dating Gay. You know what I mean, Those types of gays that stay in 10 year relationships but fuck everyone else in town but love to constantly tell everyone that they have been together for 10 years like it's some fucking Badge of honor....Like they are all knowing and all mighty and you are not cause you are single.

Augh, can't stand those people - so fucking brilliant. I love you, Rocco!

Yes, brilliant.

I think he should have added; "Like they are all knowing and all mighty and you are not cause you are single...THOUGH YOU ARE LESS OF A SLUT THAN HE IS."

How charmingly hetero-normative. Are we only capable of defining true, real, authentic relationships on outdated Christian moralisms like monogamy? Why is it every gay man under 30 thinks that middle class hetersexual marriage -- an ideal few heterosexuals themselves are able to live out -- is the ideal for love? I mean, aren't we supposed to have evolved? What happened to liberation?

Stephen, don't be embaressed that you and your lover of 15 years are frequent visitors of you local bathhouses. We're not judging you....oh wait, yes we are

"Stephen, don't be embaressed that you and your lover of 15 years are frequent visitors of you local bathhouses. We're not judging you....oh wait, yes we are"

First, we're monogamous. And it's not 15 years, it's five.

Second, if we did chose to have an open relationship, why would it matter? What morality are you invoking here for this judgement? Wait, I know, it looks a lot like... CHRISTIANITY!

Wow, you're a Christian. You just want Jesus to accept you and your love for just that one special lifetime cock. Thanks for sharing. I find most younger gays today are just as crypto-Christian as you.

The real question I am trying to raise is this: Why can't we open up a world where people can have choices of the types of relationships we can have? Why is it always the same tired debate between the heteronormative queens who want to transplant the tired old vision of lifelong marriage over to gays and those who just want to live like it's 1978?

There are more alternatives than this very limited and worn out dichotomy.

I think the point isn't that we should have "hetero-normative" relationships. It's the hypocrisy of those who become self-righteous about their being moral because they are in a relationship, when they are no more virtuous than single guys.

We have a couple in Denver who are the handsome PC picture of a gay couple, complete with kids. On the cover of the local rag for an article of “our family values”, etc. Yet, frequently show up at a party, find a boy to fuck, then leave. But they go to great lengths to make sure no one talks about it. Then act superior to anyone not in a relationship.
