Morning Transformation: Body Dysmorphic Theater Vol. 2

As promised, I will post pictures of my progress on Fridays.

I don't really remember this picture being taken (because I was having such an amazing time with Jerry at 3 a.m. last Saturday - imagine that!) but I like the way my arms look. I changed up my tricep and bicep workouts recently and the difference is noticeable, at least to me. After a good pump, I look in the mirror at the gym and am like, Wow, I am starting to look like a bodybuilder.

OK, back to hating myself. Have a great weekend.

I think this is the third picture I've seen with your face.

I'm so used to the shirtless and headless torso shots!

you look slim and somewhat toned - need more definition in your arms from the front view...i wouldn't say bodybuilder, but that's not negative or a put-down

Tobez, how many reps per set (and how many sets) do you do when lifting weights? What's the number of weights, too?

You look amazing, my man!!

michael lucas is not someone to aspire to

TOBY SAYS: Ha ha ha. Subtle.

Oh my, I didnt notice it before but it does look like Toby is modeling himself after Michael Lucas.

When are you getting the lip injections?

If you were lying down, rather than standing up, this could pass for a crime scene photo.

Not that it would stop me. That body still looks warm!

there's something about that coquettish pose that is very "Paris Hilton pre-jail at some publicity party".

You look good and you can see the work out in the biceps but it s not the right pose! It may sounds depressing but go and look at bigmuscle...I know I know, they have the body to die for and they know how to smile, pose, the right backgrounds, the right swimtrunk...damned that s it, am depressed too. I should go back to my protein shake of 10.30am. boring. Fredparislondon

you look queeny, and i know you're totally not

Beautiful body -- it's a shame it causes you such distress. (I also suffer BDD; it blows.)

Anyway, you're lean, solid, well-proportioned, and graceful. My ideal. If I could attain your present build (and recognize it for what it is), I'd cut back my nutrition and training to "maintenance" levels and enjoy. Really. :-)

You look great here. BDD does suck, I have it I think(self diagnosed), and I have been anorexic/buliemic or ednos I don't know what you'd call it (self diagnosed again hah) for about three years. I always try to work out but I can never eat healthy enough for it to do anything because two weeks later I'll think that I look obese and start eating 200 calories a day again..After reading your blogs I feel a lot more motivated though, maybe this time I'll work harder and push through feeling fat.
